Hi! My name is Ken Sandin, and I am currently living on Maui. It is here on this beautiful island that I am learning to rest more fully in an open heart.
It is in our own Heart-Space that we can rest in who we truly are, which is far greater than any definition the mind can label us with. As my beloved teacher Ram Dass says, We are souls. Not roles.
What we are is a vast beauty and depth far greater than any of our ideas, our self-conceptions, or the definitions we trap ourselves by. And by letting go of everything we think we are, we can rest in the radiant Love of our True Self.
My deepest passion, my greatest inspiration and my favorite spiritual practice is singing the Holy Names. This is the best way I know of to dive into the reaches of the heart, the place where the Lord of Love lives. I would love to sing with you sometime.
