Hi! My name is Ken Sandin, and I am currently living on Maui. It is here on this beautiful island that I am learning to rest more fully in an open heart.
It is in our own Heart-Space that we can see ourselves for what we truly are, which is far greater than any definition the mind can label us with. As my beloved teacher Ram Dass says, We are souls. Not roles.
What we are is a vast Beauty and Depth far greater than any of our ideas, our self-conceptions, or the definitions we trap ourselves by. And by letting go of everything we think we are, we can rest in the Radiant Love of our True Self.
It is this Love that has made my life fulfilling and enriching beyond my wildest dreams, and I share this Love through my two favorite devotional practices, poetry and kirtan. It is my sincere wish that these offerings resonate with your Heart-Space the way they have resonated with mine.
